Support Technician DACH m/w/d

The role:
The Support Technician (DACH) role involves providing technical support and application solution support to our end clients, business partners and local sales team in the DACH region.
This ideal candidate will be based near to our Wiesbaden office (Germany) and will involve occasional travel throughout the DACH region. This role will be reporting to the Business Development Manager (DACH).
The ideal candidate requires demonstrating a good level of German and English, both spoken and written.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The Company expects your duties to be performed in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures. Your main responsibilities include:
 Provide (onsite or remote) technical support and application consultation to endclients, business partners and colleagues
 Be the main contact point for technical support issues in the region
 Technical fault finding and root cause analysis, both software and hardware
 Provide technical support either remote or in the field
 Coordinate with other technical colleagues across European team
 Liaise with other technical support staff and software operations at head quarters
 Provide application support for key and asset management solutions
 Technical support on projects with technical specifications
 Keep customer reports and records in CRM and Technical Support software tools
 Assist with technical product training
 Assist with trade show setup and attendance as needed
 Attend monthly European Technical Lead Forum
 Give input to for technical training program

Qualifications and skills:
You are confident and have the ability to work on an individual basis and as part of a team and with little supervision. You have good verbal and written communication skills, both German and English. You are passionate about providing outstanding customer service and comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task.
You are self-motivated, with an excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workloads and tasks. You also have flexibility in tackling new tasks and adapt to changing environments. This role involves occasional travel within the DACH region, therefore the candidate must be flexible to meet the changing needs.

Functional Competencies:
 Information Technology, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering background preferred or equivalent certifications and experience
 Experience in system design or installation
 Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
 Technical Support experience (remote and onsite) with exelent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
 Information Technology and Network Engineering, Networking (TCP/IP)
 Master Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, IIS services, Windows server versions
 Experience from access control and enterprise-level security systems is highly desirable
 Experience on supporting software integrations (API)
 German and English language skills, both written and spoken
 Due to the nature of the role, travel will be required and a full driver licence is mandatory
